Who needs a DVD?

Vast numbers of digital camcorders are
owned by people worldwide who for
their own reasons, habitually press the record
button whenever the opportunity arises.
Zillions of hours of unwatched footage
reside on trillions of Mini DV and
DV Cam tapes.

Transfer to DVD, introduce chapter points
and directional menus: you run the
very real danger of being able to find what
you want when you want whilst maintaining
the interest of the audience.

Most marriages, birthdays, graduations and
special events are filmed for posterity
these days to an enormously varying
degree of success. Whether your day has
